Joe Wenc has held property and casualty actuarial roles in the insurance industry since 1993.
In his time at Gross Consulting, Joe has worked on projects for organizations of all sizes including self-insured corporations, insurance companies, financial service organizations, and state insurance departments. The projects to which he has contributed have included work on profitability measurement, reserve analyses, rate indications, filing support, predictive modeling, and new product analysis.
Before joining Gross Consulting, Joe spent time at Zurich North America, Travelers, Milliman USA, and W.R. Berkley Corporation. Among his duties at those organizations, he had responsibility for profitability measurement, reserving, reinsurance support, and business unit product support.
Joe graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (Worcester, MA) with a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Mathematics in 1993. Joe became a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) in 2002 and achieved the designation of Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) in 2003.
